Kardashian, 33, was reportedly paid $500,000 to attend the
prestigious event in Austria as the guest of Richard Lugner, an Austrian
businessman, but she opted to leave early after a man wearing "black
face" began mimicking her fiance Kanye West, according to TMZ.com.
Lugner accused the E! star of failing to fulfill her contractual obligations as his "date."
"Kim is annoying me because she's not sticking to the program," Lugner was quoted as telling reporters –celebritywatchdog.blogspot.com
Kardashian,
who was accompanied by her mother and manager Kris Jenner during the
gig, reportedly stayed for an hour and a half before storming out of the
event. The mother of one was prompted to leave after a second man
allegedly made a tasteless joke about West's hit song "N----- in Paris."
E!
camera crews were reportedly present to capture footage of the event
for Kardashian's hit reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
Lugner, who is renowned for hiring celebrity dates to the ball, also
complained about the filming.
"She's filming and so she doesn't
want to have me around," he said. "The guest should be with me and not
anywhere else that is not agreed upon."
Earlier in the day
Kardashian was photographed fulfilling a number of scheduled appearances
alongside the 81-year-old European tycoon. The reality star appeared
for a photo call at the airport and at his Lugner City mall.
Kardashian, who has made several trips to Europe in recent months, has not publicly addressed Lugner's complaints.
The
E! star has been busy traveling between the U.S. and France in
preparation for her upcoming wedding to West, 36. The Hollywood power
couple will wed in Paris during the summer.
"It's just insane ... Kanye has basically billed it as … breaking the boundaries of what to expect when it comes to a wedding," a source told Heat magazine U.K.
"This
will be the event of the year," the insider continued. "Think fashion
runway, stage show performance. Think avant garde. Think nothing like
you've ever seen.
